Three Birds Yoga Studio is seeking a charismatic, creative, and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as an Assistant Studio Manager. This dynamic role focuses on client relations, marketing, and administrative tasks, playing a vital part in maintaining our welcoming community and growing the studio's presence. With approximately 15 hours per week, including some flex time, this position is ideal for someone passionate about yoga, wellness, and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will have a warm and professional demeanor, thrive in a sales-driven environment, and demonstrate creativity in client engagement and be and hold leadership qualities. For the right person, this role offers opportunities for growth into a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities

​

Client Relations & Retention

  • Welcome clients with enthusiasm, provide studio tours, and orient new members.

  • Educate clients about studio offerings, rates, and policies.

  • Convert new clients into members and follow up with lapsed clients.

  • Follow up with clients via email, text and phone calls to upsell membership packages, solicit feedback and meet studio sales goals.

 

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Design engaging newsletters and marketing materials using Canva.

  • Plan and manage the marketing schedule.

  • Create and schedule social media content via Meta Planner.

  • Produce one original Instagram Reel or story per week (e.g., yoga tutorials, merchandise highlights, or tips).

  • Update studio chalkboards weekly with events and announcements.

Studio Operations, Administration & Staff Management

  • Maintain and update class and workshop schedules, resolving any errors.

  • Ensure the studio is clean, organized, and safe.

  • Complete weekly laundry tasks and other maintenance duties as needed.

  • Open and close the studio during shifts, ensuring readiness for classes.

  • Support and training front desk staff ensuring compliance with SOP’s

  • Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Passion for yoga, wellness, and community engagement.

  • Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Creative problem-solving and project management abilities.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, and Excel.

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to multitask and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Flexible availability, including weekends.

  • Attention to detail and a talent for visually appealing marketing content.

  • Receptive to feedback and dedicated to personal and professional growth.

  • You celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year in retail, customer service, sales, or marketing.

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate: $17 - $20 per hour., plus bonus

  • Benefits:

    • Free unlimited yoga membership and on-demand class access.

    • 20% discount on clothing and workshops

    • 12 free guest passes annually.

    • Sick time accrued (1 hour per 30 hours worked).
