WELCOME!

We are so pleased that you are interested in practicing yoga at Three Birds. We have two locations, one in Florham Park and the other in South Orange. Each studio has over 25 classes on our schedule with class levels and styles for all abilities. If you are brand new to yoga or have only practiced a handful of times we would suggest starting with a foundations class, gentle, restorative, flow to restore or yin yoga. These options move at a slower pace and the instructor will guide you through the basics. For those of you who have tried yoga but still consider yourself a novice our level 1 or level 1-2 classes move at a moderate pace, and the instructor still guides you through the poses but they provide less demonstration. If you are looking for a bit of a challenge and would like to explore deeper poses, the subtle body and create some heat our level 1-2 or level 2 classes are for you.

With that said, we provide modification in all our classes and invite you to take breaks when necessary. At Three Birds we pride ourselves on creating a space where all are welcome and competition only comes from the challenge you create for yourself.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASS

1. Visit our schedule and book a class. Pre-registration is required to attend class.

2. You will be asked to create an account and make a purchase. We suggest trying our New Student Special, 3 weeks of unlimited yoga for $49.

3. Be sure to sign our digital waiver before attending your first class.

4.  Remember your log-in information so you can book or cancel your classes going forward. 

MY FIRST CLASS

Please arrive 10 mins early to your first class so we can show you around. You are welcome to bring your own mat or borrow ours, we also have all the yoga props you will need. For your convenience we have a changing room, restrooms and water cooler available you just need to bring a water bottle.

YOGA ETIQUETTE 

  • Please arrive 10 mins early for class. We lock the door 5 minutes after the start of class so there will be no late entry.

  • We ask that you leave your belongs outside of the studio in the cubbies and please put your cell phone on silent. There are no cell phones allowed in the practice space unless you have an unusual circumstance.

  • The studio temperature is set to 73 but as we get moving your body temperature will go up so we suggest you wear layers that you can remove when you get warm.

IMPORTANT

Please pre-register for all classes to ensure your spot in class and remove yourself from class if you can't make it. Here are three ways you can manage your reservations

  • Visit our website and go to the schedule

  • Visit Momence.com, our scheduling software

  • Download the Three Birds app from the app store. We like this option best!

OUR FLORHAM PARK STUDIO

177 Columbia Tpk, 2nd floor, Florham Park, NJ 07932,  973-377-3332

If you know Florham Park, you know there are shopping centers on every corner of Columbia Tpk. We are located in the center directly across Columbia Tpk, from Walgreens. We share a parking lot with TD Bank and Moe's Grill. You can enter our lot from Columbia Tpk or Ridgedale Ave and the parking is free. Enter the building from the front or the back of the studio. The front has stairs and the back has an elevator. We are located on the 2nd floor. 

OUR SOUTH ORANGE STUDIO

18 South Orange Ave, 2nd floor, South Orange, NJ 07079, 973-377-3332

We are located in the heart of South Orange above the Chase Bank and across the street from the Gas Light. The best place to park is right behind our building on Sloane St. You can download the Park Mobile App HERE so you are ready to rock when you arrive. We don't have a building sign but you will see our big, bright logo on our front door. Because our building is very old we only have  stairs to access the 2nd floor where the studio is. If you have trouble going up and downstairs we suggest visiting our Florham Park location which has an elevator.
