Room Options
The Won Dharma Center is not a resort, but a traditional Buddhist retreat center. Conveniently located in a rural setting in Claverack, New York, the Center sits on 426 acres overlooking the Hudson Valley and the Catskill Mountains. Surrounded by wooded hills and a tranquil brook, it offers a serene natural space for deep reflection and renewal.

Accommodations are simple and communal, intentionally designed to encourage humility and inward focus over luxury or escape. The rooms are minimal, clean, and comfortable. Note: Bathrooms can be found in the hallway and 1 bathroom is shared between 2 rooms.

Meet Your Hosts
Sarah Bodnar and Christina Helms, co-owners of Three Birds Yoga Studio, are not only friends but also your dedicated hosts for the upcoming Rest & Restore retreat. With over 30 years of combined teaching experience, they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to their teaching.

Christina is not only a yoga teacher but also a meditation instructor and licensed therapist. She’s an avid reader, always ready to share a good book recommendation. Sarah complements the duo by teaching yin yoga and managing the studio's operations.
They have run a host of yoga retreats over the years, and their favorite part is watching the connections people make, friendships grow, and getting to know the Three Birds flock even better.
