What my class is like: I hold space for students to quiet their mind and come home to themselves, by linking breath to movement in a fun and dynamically sequenced class. I love to incorporate yoga mantras, mudras, or breathwork to build on the theme and purpose of each class, whether it’s preparing the student’s body for a peak pose in Vinyasa or focusing on a certain area of the body in Yin. I believe that yoga is for every“body”, so I offer lots of modifications to tailor to the needs of my students.
Favorite Mantras: I love so many Mantras. One of my favorites is “Sat Nam”, meaning - I am truth, truth is my essence. This is said at the end of class in Kundalini Yoga and has a similar meaning to “Namaste.”
Off The Mat: I live with my husband, two boys 10 and 7, and two cats in Madison, NJ. Daily meditation and yoga, walks in nature, journaling, and reading, keep me grounded and happy.
