What my class is like: My flow classes have a strong focus on alignment, moving slow with the breath, and they usually build up to a peak pose. My two rules for class are to be safe and to have fun.
Off the mat: I am a mother of two girls and two dogs I am also an exercise physiologist and personal trainer.
My favorite pose is: I have a couple favorite poses depending on my mood. Downward dog when I need to come back home into my body, pigeon when I need to release tension, side angle pose when I need to align my body and mind, and handstand variations when I'm feeling playful.
I love yoga because: it supports me wherever I am in my life and it helps me keep a playful attitude towards life.
If I wasn't teaching yoga: I would be rock climbing.
